This is new to me, never saw before: ascii(1) man page using non-ascii characters to implement a table display. I wonder what changed in my environment that triggered that!

This is on Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) connected to via ssh from a screen(1) session via gnome-terminal. Remote env contains LANG=en_US.UTF-8

CentOS 7 has the same box drawing horizontal lines. Amusingly, that table is broken on Fedora 39.
