⚠️ EC cuts funding support for Free Software projects

The @EC_NGI initiative has supported #FreeSoftware projects with funding and technical assistance since 2018.

Despite its proven success, the @EUCommission made the decision to cut this funding in the current draft for the #HorizonEU 2025 Work Programme.

❗ This decision highlights the larger problem of the lack of motivated and sustainable public funding for #FreeSoftware projects.

Nothing else to be expected from the combined power of Censorsula and Total Surveillanson. Open software tends to be… so damn open and transparent, can't have that in the future.

Maybe their new strategy is to give even more control to corporate powers, either foreign or local.

The People's Party of Spain has declared that it's better we don't use public funding. I'm waiting for them to stop the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

They're a bunch of fascist retards.
