when it was said i can root and force block updates on my shitsung? all family thinks i will lose warranty just after going to developer options (what i did anyway) and where root/boot unlock…

the only thing Android is missing is sudo, so we wouldn't need to give up safety while "rooting".

Too many working devices are left to collect dust or thrown away because they don’t support the latest version of the OS and key commercial applications. The ability to root the device and install a simple but well maintained open source OS is a huge step forward.

modern phones have the bootloader locked from the mainboard, it was the standard for Chinese produced but now is becoming unavoidable
