Poking around today.Trying some different combinations. I think lunch is in order.
A nine patch quilt missing the top left square. In the center is a red and white square that looks like the bottom right quarter is a grid of red and white lines. The rest of that block is just alternating red and white, with red on the outside. At the top and bottom and two sides are blue, dark blue, and white pieced squares. None of them is exactly like the other, but mostly the squares of color alternate. At the bottom left is a square with a blue Japanese floral print, orange batik, and dark orange batik. On the bottom right is a square of just alternating lighter orange and darker orange batik. On the top right is a square with the lighter orange batik on top and bottom and the blue Japanese floral in the middle.
In this one, the blue, dark blue, and white squares are still top and bottom and central side spots. In the middle is the light orange and dark orange batik striped square. On the top right is the light orange batik with blue floral Japanese print in the middle. Now there is a corner square of alternating white and red lines in a chevron pattern. Bottom right has a grid of red and white at the top left corner of the block and then there is light orange, blue floral Japanese print, and more light orange batik. Lower left has blue floral Japanese print on the outside, two strips of light orange batik, and then dark orange batik in the middle. At the lower left is another square made of alternating red and white strips in a chevron pattern.

I printed it out and did some cutting. I like this much better.

Can you see a difference between these three pictures? I feel like I'm playing that game that had nine tiles with different snakes (or turtles) on it and you had to make sure all the connections matched. It's driving me a little crazy, which is usually the point where I say, **** it, and just go forward.
