Made my first application for my # - a Maidenhead locator display based on current location. Everything made in # and #.
Programming in Vala was a delight. The barrier to entry is practically nonexistent, and it was really pleasant to use.
GTK, however, not so much. Making UIs in XML is a chore. Glade doesn't support GTK4, new designers seem not to be ready yet.

This time the photo is too bright, but the text on the phone screen is easier to read. High dynamic range would probably solve this issue, but OpenCamera was crashing when I tried to use it.
Screenshot of my application called "hamlocator", running on my PC. It is unable to show a Maidenhead locator, as my laptop is unable to provide it a current location. I wonder whether it would be possible to make it work based on the location guessed by the presence of nearby WiFi networks or IP geolocation, though.
