I speak about what is a notebook, some of the trendy ones available on the market and provides some insights on notebook's limitations.

Nice to see an up to date comparison of notebook features! There’s stuff with a more jupyter+teaching focus around: https://econpapers.repec.org/article/wiwwiwreg/region_5f7_5f1_5f282.htm (my contrib) and Dani’s key reference: https://jose.theoj.org/papers/10.21105/jose.00042.pdf (on which I built my own teaching). Serge Rey and I had an idea about remixing notebooks too, https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10109-021-00346-6 but slow progress
