Though regarding conclusion, cookie banners were not what the GDPR was meant to incur. That is questionable compliance from those who want you to hate that law.

it is a cultural issue.
I wish we're all using tools that automatically ask people to avoid the mafia of those #email #oligopoly
"Please do not use gmail as it trashes all mail I try to send you".

It's an idea, until they discover that. Then they will forbid it or require you to give them the private key 😭. Otherwise how could they spy on you?
It's like captain Picard against the Borg in First Contact. We can't keep retreating. We must stop them here

There's also the issue of webmail... Too many people expect to be able to read their emails in any browser they log into for us to achieve any reasonable E2E encryption...
