Is Advanced AI a Reason to Decouple from The Centralized Internet?

That's the question posed by Purism, the USA manufacturer of Linux hardware, laptop, servers and the Librem5 phone.

Interesting. Obviously but without hiding in the end they propose their products but I think they do wellIf only Librem5 USA didn't cost so much… 😅

I read another article that says exactly the contrary, that AI is a domain for small and agile startups that can move a faster pace than M$ and Google...

Unfortunately I do not recall the title nor the website..

Boogle has several evil ways to tight you in its ecosystem.

Payrolls: if I have to plan vacations or taking sick ours I have to use an app available only on Merdroid or MichIOS, the WebUI is constantly broken on Firefox, that makes it pretty useless.

School: the platform my son uses is based on Boogle Classroom, I can enter inside it only through a Boogle account, whether is mine or my kid one.

The same goes for a lot of others many things I need daily, if OS like GrapheneOS would allow #Merdroid sandboxing I will probably switch to it. In the US there is not sensibility for such topics, the trust in GAFAM is stronger than the Force... :flan_facepalm:

Most citizen of Us of America are fools. An evil minority are the minions of #gafam, or of political parties, or both or are "loyal federal employees". My distrust for any statal power is steadily growing 😠

For what I see I would say the problem is that "Critical Thinking" is considered a professional skill, not a requirement to be a good citizenship.
I don't know when this happened but I see why people are quite willing to accept anything.

Well actually also most Italian and Europeans citizens are complete fools too 😢 as they are quite willing too to accept anything and don't use their brain for critical thinking. We have had far too many examples
