yup, and contrary to many people's impression, they haven't changed. That's just a new PR strategy. They're still as anti-libre as they always were, except for lip service in the US. Outside the US, Microsoft are still predatory and keen to kill anything that threatens their proprietary stranglehold.

@opensoul yet we must remember that companies are not people. People have #ethics, companies - especially bigger corporations - are hydras with many heads. While **some** parts of MS (and other companies) started to behave "not so wickedly", or even friendly toward #FreeSoftware (they call it #OpenSource), their motivations are "merely" utilitarian.

Well, except very few companies but those are easily spotted as their core business IS making #freeasinfreedm software. AutoMattic, RedHat, Suse, AdaCore are the first I recall.
Yet I haven't followed RH that much recently, especially after being bought by IBM though.
