Today is the beginning of #LBGTQ+ Pride month. I celebrate that I've witnessed that abbreviation grow longer and longer with many variations over my lifetime. Unity in diversity is a good thing.
I came out forty-two years ago during an era even more hostile than what we have now. I had no support. I perceived no future. It nearly ended my life. I certainly never expected to live to this long.
