Why this may be useful. For some, raster tiling needs never went away, but software did. One QGIS to rule them all. Use of multiple raster inputs. Working in the best projection (e.g. Antarctica, Canada, NZ, etc). Well supported tooling. Automated scaling, cloud processing.
Methods. Primary steps - From QGIS QGZ, to Coverage JSON, to Tile Matrix JSON, then process to XYZ tile cache. Then a single line make command.
