Good morning Knitterati! Has anyone ever tried winding yarn with a "nostepinne?" Looks like a must-have tool, especially for non-stretch yarns like the one in the demo here. Cheap and effective!

@Karen Strickholm I've used a thick (~2 cm diameter, maybe?) and short (20 cm long) stick as if it was a nostepinne, and as long as the amount of yarn isn't too much (too much = a few kg of very thin yarn) it works very well
