From what? #Firefox is not perfect, no human made thing is. But we can't have a #browser #monoculture, it is way too risky for several reason. That's also why I have a soft spot for all #webkit browsers also proprietary ones. #Chrome, #chromium and their derivates can't be the one web client we use. We need more engines for a healthy web ecosystem
I'm not trying to convert anyone. I just think that monopolies and monocultures have drawbacks that society as a whole tends to underestimate but that are potentially very risky. Think about the anology of banana's diseases.
I'd rather say that #alphabet keeps funding #mozilla to avoid being accused of #monopolies. But yes Firefox is Google's sacrificial lamb in a way. I don't like monocultures but even two implementations are not enough. That's why I try to support #webkit browser (Gnome web and others)

It sounds like you've already made up your mind, and are looking to convert me, rather than to hear what I have to say.

I also think that Firefox is a sacrificial lamb that only exists so that people won't feel compelled to build something better.

Two options are insufficient.
