Time to sew 11 tiny buttons, plus a spare, onto a linen blouse that has been languishing in the mending pile for years because I lost half the nice little metal buttons I had bought for it.

Now I have some tiny plastic ones because the one place I could safely get buttons in person* has few buttons. At least they’re a good color and washable.

* https://freemanscreative.com/ - excellent masking requirements! Great yarn & fabric.

I am currently languishing in the "I don't have any* yarn and my pakige isn't here yet!"

* and by "any" I mean "the precise yarn I was wanting for my latest project, not any of the yarns I've planned or prior projects"
in reply to Gilbert Busana

well of *course* it’s the specific yarn. Other yarn doesn’t count.

@Naomi @Antonius Marie Hogebrandt ⚧ on a similar theme, I've just received a message that the fabric I've ordered a few days ago will be late in the delivery, and I'm AAAAAGH, I don't have fabric!!! (spoiler: the fabric cupboard has overspilled on the spare bed, and the spare bed is at capacity).

Yes, exactly! At this point they're expecting me to survive until tomorrow or wednesday without (more) yarn!

I did get the clay today, which I should try to work *some* with

I just found out that someone did a booboo and misrouted my package, so it's now delayed even further >.<

though I did quite unexpectedly get the phone holder in arm that, in theory, will let me film crafting from the top up

I have my yarn! This is the beginning of a crocodile stitch bag. 4.5mm, worsted weight yarn. Metallico "silver sapphire" shade

It's going to be amazing though. I'm making some divination stuff for me and my co-sinner: A "dragon scale" rune bag, a wrap-around tarot deck pouch and (eventually, depending on how much yarn I have left) a nice divination cloth.

There was a sale on a *gorgeous* smooth metallic yarn, so he's getting sapphire-silver and I'm getting brown-gold, and then we have one skein of thinner in "petrol" tones (one towards blue, one towards green), which we'll pick as an accent colour.
