the fediverse is full of these problems, I cannot really explain why you didn't get a notification, but I know for sure I see different set of comments from different mastodon accounts which probably has a common root.
The only way from there to find this video was to search for jsanz@video.osgeo.org
I suspect this problem has to do with the original post (the video) not being on the Mastodon homeserver because it was posted BEFORE the connection was made (the following) - but I'm still guessing
another oddity is a "Translate" option under your post which translates your english to ... english !
This, I believe, is related to the advertised language of a post, which you can see by using your browser debugger. Not all systems that PRODUCE the ActivityPub payload set that flag correcty (in your case I think it was the OSGeo Peertube instance, right ?)
the work was done by Regina Obe, not me. I think I already mentioned this from a Friendica account but not seeing that post from where I am now (mastodon account on floss.social) I'm saying it again. I could be due to the "unlisted" privacy of your post

in reply to jsanz • •The video setup was done by @robe@video.osgeo.org who I hope will let us know her preferred Fediverse handle :)
But thank you for testing ! ( and this one is coming from a Friendica instance )

I'm reading the thread from the top at a different URI: https://mapstodon.space/@jsanz@video.osgeo.org/111483825497702203
Note the reference to the @jsanz in the URI
It looks like your URI is just a post you made which included a link to the video, while mine is the original post (I'm guessing).
