Green roofs improve a building's climate, help save energy for heating or air conditioning, and protect the roofing membrane. They support biodiversity by providing a habitat for insects. We have developed a method that automatically detects and classifies green roofs using digital orthophotos and 2.5D point clouds. It identifies #buildings with green roofs versus sealed areas.
