È possibile seguire l'account del progetto all'indirizzo @BookWyrm, e gli account di BookWyrm possono essere seguiti da Mastodon ecc. È possibile importare i dati dei libri in BookWyrm da GoodReads, LibraryThing, StoryGraph, OpenLibrary e Calibre. Per importare i dati, prima esportateli dall'altro servizio come file CSV, poi accedete al vostro account BookWyrm, andate su Impostazioni > Importa, selezionate il tipo di dati e poi cercate il file CSV che avete esportato dall'altro servizio.
