Still no ligatures
Black Box is a GTK4 Terminal App With a Unique Look - OMG! Ubuntu

Black Box is a GTK4 terminal emulator for Linux desktops. It boasts innovative UI features, 12 terminal themes, and is easy to install from Flathub.

Nice, but still, font ligatures support is missing as it requires quite a lot of work on VTE. I'm quite happy with Qterminal these days

Programming fonts with ligatures
A recent fad in programming communities is monospaced programming fonts full of cool ligatures.

For example GitHub has 92 repositories marked as such; among them:

FiraCode Free monospaced font with programming ligatures

Iosevka Versatile typeface for code, from code.

JetBrainsMono JetBrains Mono – the free and open-source typeface for developers

Teko and Barlow Condensed fonts
I've just read: 2035: solo macchine elettriche? L'Europa ci ripensa!!!

Nice fonts! They are Teko and Barlow Condensed and both are released under the Open Font License which is always nice.

PROZA is an absolutely gorgeous font family, I completely agree!

This is the first I've come across it, but I immediately want to buy it and start using it. I particularly like its 4 sets of numerals (lining aka regular; oldstyle; tabular lining; and tabular oldstyle).

It took me a long time to find a typeface for https://iamkate.com. I was looking for an elegant humanist sans-serif resembling my obsessively neat handwriting, with advanced typographic features and a licence allowing self hosting.

I eventually discovered Proza, designed by Jasper de Waard at Bureau Roffa: http://bureauroffa.com/about-proza. It comes in six weights in both roman and italic, includes small caps and nine sets of numerals, and is absolutely beautiful.
