Getting to be friends (and collaborators) with super talented makers has some nice bonus benefits! In addition to the gorgeous Fibonacci heart pendant, @jasoncoon sent me a flexible PCB he designed and assembled (!) that has 128 tiny addressable LEDs laid out in a Fibonacci pattern, along with the vector file to cut out a faux leather cover. The whole assembly looks truly stunning in cuff bracelet form.

E' un po' che non posto, quindi beccatevi un dietro-le-quinte di un pixel-lavoro! Un mesetto fa ho avuto il piacere di collaborare al super progetto Mega Tree Majokko di @sio, Dado e un sacco di altra gente brava. Ho realizzato una breve #animazione in #pixelart sul design dell'amico e collega Manolo "The Oluk" Saviantoni. Tutto fatto in Aseprite e compositato in After Effects. Ditemi che ne pensate!

In addition to just looking cool (because Textura is always cool), it can optionally (and if your art program supports it) automatically apply a bunch of abbreviations and variants to make Latin text look more authentic.

Decided late last night I should make a pixel font that resembles Latin Textura manuscripts, scribal abbreviations and all.

Coming up with rules in the font to automatically use the abbreviations was pretty fun. Making vector versions of all the letters was not.
