#PositConf2023 talks are up on YouTube!

Want to learn about parameterized reporting with #RStats and #QuartoPub? Check out my talk that explains what parameters are and how to use them to increase your efficiency and reproducibility with multi-format #Quarto reports: https://youtu.be/lbE5uOqfT70?si=8b3Dc6iViEN54oVG.

Side note: this works with #Python too!

Side, side note: I'm leading a virtual 2-hour hands-on workshop on this topic January 18th. Register at https://www.meetup.com/rladies-dc/events/297344107/.

Quarto is great on its own, but add parameterization and you become a superhero! @jadeynryan shows us how she used her extreme hacking skills and love of automation to get out of the streams and into a data science role.

Jadey is working smarter, not harder. Parameters let you change inputs to a template file and generate different variants of the same report, e.g. different years, geographies, etc.

Check out her slides for more info and awesome tips: https://tinyurl.com/quarto-params

I had the most magical time at #positconf2023. I feel so fulfilled by the #rstats community! I’ve finally found my tribe and am so grateful. 🥹 If we didn’t get to connect, please reach out and I’d love to chat with you!

Thank you to all my old and new friends for showing up. It was so encouraging to see so many friendly faces during my talk. ♥️

Slides and source for my #PositConf2023 talk "Styling and Templating Quarto Documents" AKA "worried about styling taking too much time? In 20 minutes you won’t anymore" It was an honor to talk and speak with so many wonderful people!
