Copyleft ensures that Free Software remains Free. Stockfish filed a lawsuit when ChessBase distributed parts of #Stockfish work under a proprietary license, violating #GNU GPL obligations.

Checkmate! #Copyleft won. Stockfish secured numerous concessions from ChessBase to respect the GPL.

Beh, github da in pasto tutto quel che ci carichi alla loro intelligenza artificiale, con buona pace del #dirittodautore e del #permessodautore (aka #copyleft). Già questo mi basta per evitarli

That's why I wrote the # http://www.tesio.it/documents/HACK.txt so that when we will be able to prove that # distributed any work under such license, we will have to assume that # accepted the license, that the "models" of # are used under its terms and thus all the software that adopted its "suggestions" can be used under its terms too.
