I've been enjoying the #30DayMapChallenge posts. I don't have time to take part every day, but thought I'd have a go at the 'Bad Map' prompt (I know, I'm a day late...!)
Anyway, here's my bad map titled 'All the Scots in Scotland' which shows all places with 'scot' in their name. And yes, I have used Irn Bru colours, what's your problem? 😉
One of the biggest and best aurora displays I've seen.
Sunset turned to twilight and the clouds dispersed on cue right as the display exploded, more than filling the field of view even at 8mm (12mm-e) on my ultrawide lens - pillars and rays stretching up past Polaris even to the zenith.
A classic view of the Quiraing, Isle of Skye, Scotland. I only recently learned that it is still moving! We were lucky enough with the weather: no rain but dramatic sky, perfect for pictures. For scale: the little white dots are sheep :)
